V-Cell Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereafter known as “V-Cell”) guarantees to the original user that all V-Cell batteries will be free from defects in material or workmanship for 24 months (for capacities above 40Ah) and 12 months (for capacities 40Ah and below) after the date of dispatch from V-Cell’s warehouse in China. The user should promptly report any alleged defects in writing to V-Cell and should allow examination by its representative.

If V-Cell finds the batteries to be defective as a result of material or workmanship, V-Cell may, at its own option, either repair the batteries or provide a replacement from V-Cell’s warehouse in China free of charge except for transportation charges. The warranty is valid provided that the user established to V-Cell's satisfaction that:

The batteries are handled, stored and installed in accordance with V-Cell's published instructions furnished with the batteries.

The batteries are properly freshened if they are kept in storage for long period of time (beyond six months).

The batteries are operated in conjunction with a full float, voltage regulated charger and otherwise installed, used and maintained in accordance with V-Cell's published instructions furnished with the batteries.

Continuous loss of DC power supply should be limited to three days and the overall loss of DC power should not exceed seven days over a two month period.

The applied constant float voltage is temperature compensated when the battery temperature exceeds 30°C.

The yearly ambient temperature in the area of use (battery room or cabinet) in any year may not exceed 20° C. In case ambient temperature exceeds 20° C the warranty conditions will be modified as follows:

For batteries with the capacity above 40Ah:
If the temperature goes over 20° C up to 25° C, warranty is reduced down to 20 months.
If temperature goes over 25° C up to 30° C, warranty is reduced down to 16 months.
If temperature goes over 30° C up to 35° C, warranty is reduced down to 6 months.

For batteries with the capacity 40Ah and below:
If temperature goes over 20° C up to 25° C, warranty is reduced down to 10 months.
If temperature goes over 25° C up to 30° C, warranty is reduced down to 8 months.
If temperature goes over 30° C up to 35° C, warranty is reduced down to 3 months.
However batteries should not be operated at a temperature exceeding 45°C and operated at a temperature
higher than 30°C (never exceeding 45°C) for an overall period of time not longer than 10% of the warranty
period.

User shall maintain complete records regarding the temperature and conditions of use and the maintenance performed, as per V-Cell’s instructions furnished with the batteries, and shall permit examination of these records by V-Cell. User shall also promptly report any alleged defects in writing to V-Cell and permit examination of the batteries and it’s operational conditions by its representative. This warranty is void in any case in which the products herein described have been misused, stressed beyond design limits, or damaged, even accidentally or whenever V-Cell instructions have not been strictly followed. This warranty is also void in case of any natural disasters.

THE ABOVE STATED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, AND IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE OF STATUTORY AND ALL OTHER LIABILITIES (CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE,INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION NEGLIGENCE). SELLER MAKES NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY TO ANY PERSON OR ENTITY OTHER THAN BUYER. IN NO EVENT WHATSOEVER SHALL THE SELLER BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF PROFITS OR ANY OTHER INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY DEFECTS IN THE GOODS OR ANY BREACH OF THE WARRANTY.

Returned batteries will not be accepted without a Return Material Authorization issued by V-Cell in writing. The user is responsible for costs of returning materials and secure packaging of returned batteries to provide best possible assurance against any damage in shipment. Batteries of any kind must not be returned to V-Cell’s warehouse without special instructions for handling and shipping.
